Rising from the nostalgic Anthony’s PIER 4 restaurant site, developer Tishman Speyer’s PIER 4 is a strong contender for the best real estate in the city. PIER 4 is a boutique nine-story residential building with 106 one- to four-bedroom ocean homes, each with private outdoor space and water views. PIER 4 will offer the only Seaport residences surrounded by water on all three sides.

PIER 4’s architecture complements its waterside location and the surrounding buildings. Designed by internationally renowned firm SHoP, in collaboration with Boston-based CBT Architects, its soft edges and unique white brick and glass facade will bring a beautiful aesthetic to the neighborhood as the building curves to the west, towards the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), and its exterior picks up light and texture from the water. The design, reminiscent of a ship sailing through the harbor, will define ultra-luxury living in Boston. “There is an appeal of the distinction of the architecture,” said Jeffrey Wechsler, Managing Director of acquisitions and development at Tishman Speyer in Boston.

With landscaping by Reed Hilderbrand and interiors by II BY IV DESIGN, each sustainably designed home at PIER 4 will offer a sophisticated and unique layout, encompassing elegant finishes and private outdoor space, in an amenity-filled waterfront setting on the Boston Harbor. Adjacent to the ICA, the development will add lush public spaces to the Seaport, including sea steps leading to the water, a one-acre park, and an expansive extension of the Harbor Walk. Building amenities include pet-friendly conveniences, an exclusive residents club, an expansive outdoor terrace, a seating and dining area with a fire pit, a luxury fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, and on-site self-parking and valet. The building will also offer virtual golf so avid players can practice their swing year-round. Two-bedroom homes at PIER 4 will start at $2 million-plus.

A slice of paradise, the peninsula will be home to an array of luxury amenities, curated retail, and waterfront dining, including the Seaport’s first true farm-to-table restaurant by Kristin Canty, proprietor of Concord’s Woods Hill Table. The restaurant will have 140 seats, including at a raw bar and a 40-seat patio, The Boston Globe reports. Tishman Speyer will announce more retail tenants in the coming months “that contribute to the urban respite we’re creating on the waterfront,” said Wechsler.

Just steps from the hustle and bustle of downtown Boston, PIER 4 is anchoring itself as a truly unique luxury oasis. “PIER 4 combines the luxuries of traditional New England coastal living with the spontaneity, conveniences, and excitement of city living,” said Advisors Living CEO Janice Dumont.
